Florida was all sorts of amazing, but it really made me appreciate Michigan's crappy weather. I missed it so hard and I officially hate shorts. Today during my first day back at work I was wearing a hoodie, fingerless gloves, and a knit hat because it was so cold. I was in heaven!

Speaking of work! Before my vacation week I was given a promotion. That is my big news. Not pregnant!

I have been with Psychopathic for about three and a half years or so and in that time I have always been the receptionist and customer service representative. I pretty much answered phones all day. I did the same thing every day and I got yelled at by a lot of angry people for stuff I had no control over. It was awesome.

Well, the week before my vacation I was pulled into a meeting where, long story short, it was discussed that I would be teaching the warehouse manager to do customer service and I would instead be given full control over all of our artist websites, myspaces, e-blasts, and so on. It's actually a really huge job and... WOWZA! It's mine. Those sites are pretty much my babies now. The transition period is going to be interesting, but I'm excited about it all. They want someone who can be creative and will take ownership of the sites. Someone who cares about them being updated and interesting.

The job was pretty much explained to me as being a spy. It is my job to get nitty gritty behind the scenes of Psychopathic and relay what is going on to the public. I went out to Borders today and bought a Moleskine journal so I could always have something on hand to write ideas and thoughts down in.



I'M JUST SAYIN'.

Stalker and I are leaving tomorrow for Bradenton, FL! We will be gone from Monday - Friday. SO EXCITED. This is the first week long vacation we've taken with each other since we've started dating (4 years in November). We've done other small things like a day in Chicago or overnight in Frankenmuth, but this just feels mad legit.

Also, this is the first time Stalker has ever flown! He's nervous, but it'll be okay. I've been flying since I was a baby so I'm stoked. I love flying.

The only part that really stinks is that there's no internet in the condo we're stay at. D8 But in the end I know it's for the best. I need to unwind and get refreshed. I need to just focus on myself and Stalker without worrying about e-mail or people and things like that. It'll be good. Except I just brought up the idea of putting internet on my phone for the week to Stalker? Uhm, yeah, withdrawals over it already.

SO! That's it. Monday - Friday. Florida. BRB, LOL.

So, I know I'm mad behind on it but I do have to blow kisses to everyone for over 9,000 page views. [ Insert obligatory IT'S OVER 9,000 joke here. ] Summer is coming to a close so that means I'm going to actually be finishing more pieces and that has me pretty stoked. I've been sketching like crazy and have a lot of great ideas floating around, I just can't find time to finish anything!

Also, I have some pretty amazing news, but I'm not really going to share until Stalker and I get back from the vacation we will be going on October 5th-9th. We're going to Florida! I'm so excited. Stalker has never flown and his Mum is already setting him up with a small pharmacy to keep him level. P.S. - I'm not pregnant. Everyone keeps assuming then when I squeal about good news. Calm down, Breeders.

Life is busy, but it's a good sort of busy. I can't be upset about it.

Things have been rolling along as per usual lately. I've been sketching a lot, just not really finishing anything off. I think I have another mixtape sketch collage in the works, but we'll see. I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's way too nice outside to be locked up in front of a computer. Though, what I should do is get my butt in gear on getting some paint and work on tagging. Instead of just using stray supplies around the office.
