Lizzie Liddell and Danny Brooks (who does not belong to me). I decided to revamp Lizzie a bit and draw how she'll be looking this summer. Of course Danny had to join in.
I think the part I'm most proud of on this is Lizzie's hair. It's actually my first sashay into doing decent lineless colors, something I have been working on for a while and failing at. Danny's hair is lineless too, but his always gives me such a hard time. Lizzie's actually came out how I wanted it. I tried to put more detail into this piece in general. Really work on my shading and highlights. I also tossed in a bunch of textures. Overall I'm pretty happy with how it came out. I'm improving, in my opinion, and that's all you can really ask for. Materials: Mechanical Pencil / Computer Paper / Photoshop Music: Dashboard Confessional - Hands Down Daniel Brooks does not belong to me. He is (c) to his creator. |

The pose was a surprising coincidence. I drew them separate and was going to just have them standing beside each other. Then when shifting stuff around in photoshop I was like, "Oh, wait!" A happy accident. I like her hair, too. It's all about the blonde layers! Right next to mohawks. <3
